The launch of the new IS200 marked a
turning point in the styling of Lexus vehicles
where the Lexus design philosophy
reached a higher level of refinement. A
launch device was needed to shroud the
new model within the showroom and reflect
the spirit of the L-Finesse philosophy.
Designed and installed at all Lexus centres
in a 6 week programme, the sculptural form
subtly changed colour and created an
individual environment for the IS200.

The Lexus ownership experience is all
about contemporary luxury so reinforcing
this feeling is a key aspect in the design of
Lexus environments.  With this is mind,
concepts for utilising underused areas were
commissioned, in this case for a café and
restaurant on the first floor of very large
dealerships.
